Overview
Sponge Bob Square Pants is loved all over. With his high-pitched laugh and brown square pants, Sponge Bob is a delight to many people. Kids love to create their own Sponge Bob birthday invitations. They are eye-catching and wonderful to hand out to classmates and neighborhood friends. It motivates children to go to parties to see what is going on. This project also lets kids have fun and be creative in making these invitations!
Step 1
Use your paper to begin this project. Fold in half and fold again. This makes a small blank card. Let your child decorate it with Sponge Bob stickers to make the invitations. Then, use the glitter and scissors to personalize them. Have your child write the names of the invited children. Get the entire family involved in this project.
Step 2
Go on the computer to look for pictures you have of Sponge Bob. Create your invitations by adding pictures to the document. This way your child can add borders and words to personalize the invitation. Allow your child to help you choose the special designs and borders, as this will allow them to truly design their own cards.
Step 3
Use your own pictures of your child with Sponge Bob. This can also be done on the computer, by simply cutting and pasting their picture onto the card. They will love it!
Step 4
Go online to look at different websites that provide party packs. These include invitations as well as the plates and other things needed for your themed party. Online websites can offer further help in finding what you're looking for. There are sites that will let you print invitations for free. This is a great idea when on a budget. Kids have fun choosing what they want as well.
Step 5
Print out coloring pages that could be used for invitations. These can be saved for keepsakes to hang on the refrigerator. This is a great way to display art work. Children enjoy seeing their art displayed.
Step 6
Go to the local printing office to quickly design your invitations here. Most printing specialists will have an assortment of pictures to choose from, including Sponge Bob. This could be an easier way if you're a busy parent. You will also get to see them before purchasing them, so you will know what you are getting. Take your child with you to help design the invitations.
