Pirate Goodie Bag Ideas

Pirate Goodie Bag Ideas :
For a little boy who loves adventure and action, plan a pirate theme birthday party. The decorations are minimal, the games are spirited and the cake can be as simple or elaborate as you like. The highlight of the party will be the treasure hunt that leads to treasure. Make sure that all the guest buccaneers get to take home some of the pirate loot in a pirate goodie bag.

Bundle of Booty

If you use a treasure hunt as one of the activities for the party, make sure that the treasure at the end is a box or chest full of party loot. Include candy, bubbles, rubber balls, pencils, chocolate coins and various other dollar store or party items. Give each child a cup and have him scoop a heaping cupful into a square of black or skull-printed pirate fabric. Tie the treasure bundle with some twine for an authentic pirate party favor.

Pirate Themed Bags

Fill a clear plastic party bag with pirate related items. Try ring pops, stickers, chocolate gold coins, candy necklaces, pirate bandannas, eye patches, a compass, skull rings, key chains, plastic sea creatures or pencils. You might even find pirate themed items at a party store that are printed with pirate characters, such as whistles, flying disks, erasers and bubbles.

Treasure Chest

When each guest arrives, hand him a homemade treasure chest. Make these out of a variety of items, such as metal lunchboxes, small Styrofoam containers or diaper wipe containers painted gold. Inside the treasure chest, there should be a pirate bandanna, eye patch and other pirate accessories, from belts and scarves to fake scars and ugly plastic teeth. The guests can dress up as pirates to fit the theme, then take the costumes and treasure home as party favors.
