Tinkerbell Party Favor Ideas

Tinkerbell Party Favor Ideas :
Tinkerbell is one of the most popular of the Disney characters, and has captured the hearts of a whole new generation of girls with a new book series and an animated movie all her own. Tinkerbell and her friends make a lovely birthday party theme for girls ages 2 to 10. After you've thought about the decorations, games, cake and activities for a Tinkerbell party, don't forget about Tinkerbell party favors.

Edible Fairy Wands

Combine an activity with a party favor that the girls can take home. Make edible fairy wands. You can choose to dip long pretzel sticks in white chocolate and sprinkle with sugar crystals for delicious magic wand party favors. Or, bake thick sugar cookies in the shape of stars, flowers and hearts. Allow the girls to frost and decorate, then send the cookies home in pretty flowered bags with curled ribbon. Another edible wand idea is to form star-shaped rice crispy treats onto the end of long pretzel sticks. Wrap the top with colored plastic wrap and tie it off with ribbon.

Fairy Treat Bags

Give an assorted mix of delightful goodies in a fairy treat bag. Just purchase some plastic party bags at a dollar store (flowers, birds, stars or hearts work well with a Tinkerbell theme). Fill the bags with bracelets, hair ribbons, fairy stickers, ring pops, pixie sticks, jelly beans, body glitter (pixie dust) and chocolate coins. You might also include bubbles, temporary tattoos, candy necklaces, plastic wands, glow-in-the-dark stars and any Tinkerbell merchandise you choose.

Fairy Accessories

Present fairy accessories to guests as they arrive for maximum effect. Give each child a magic wand and fairy crown. Pairs of inexpensive wire-and-nylon wings can be purchased at dollar stores, as can wands and crowns. Or, make your own. Wands can be made from dowels, stiff poster paper and glitter. Fairy crowns just need bendable wire, ribbon, flowers and hot glue to make simple wreaths that fit a child's head.
