Carnival Theme Birthday Party Ideas for Kids

Carnival Theme Birthday Party Ideas for Kids :
Carnivals are a lot of fun for both adults and children of all ages. To bring that fun to your party, there are many ways to recreate the carnival theme. Kids love playing carnival games, and if you have them at your party, don't forget about the prizes for each child as he wins the game. Animals are another attraction at many carnivals as well. Of course a carnival wouldn't be a carnival without a lot of junk food being sold--why not let the children make their own variations of their favorite carnival snacks?

Carnival Games

Set up some basic games that resemble carnival games for your child's carnival-theme birthday party. Some popular games can involve ring toss games, tossing a ball into a bucket, penny toss games onto a plate, basketball shooting contests, and even a game where the children race each other to see who is the fastest.

Pony Rides

Local party organizers will offer to bring a pony out to your location for a cost. You can also include visiting a local farm as part of the party where the children can go on pony rides.

Carnival Food

Let the children participate in creating their own carnival-theme foods as part of the birthday party. This can involve making their own caramel or candy apples, which are popular carnival snacks. Other snacks the children can make include their own sundaes, or possibly even having a cotton candy machine at the party for the children to make their own cotton candy.
