Disney Princess Party Ideas

Disney Princess Party Ideas : :
Does your little girl enjoy dancing along with Cinderella? Does she dream of the day when she will live in a magical castle with her very own fairy god mother? If so, a Disney princess theme party is the perfect theme for her big day. Bring the princess theme to life with some fun and creative party ideas.

Disney Princess Invitations

There are many great ideas for Disney Princess invitations which will thrill your party guests. Cut a tiara shape out of pink cardstock and embellish with pink glitter or plastic jewels. Use glitter glue for a fancy touch. Write party information such as the time, place, and date in calligraphy. Or use a basic card invitation and attach a pretty necklace that her friends can wear at the party. Cut out the shape of Cinderella's glass slipper out of shiny card stock. Sprinkle the shoe with white glitter. Write party details on one side of the shoe. Or roll up a colorful scroll and use a thin satin ribbon to tie it together. Use words like "Here ye, Princess (insert your daughter's name) summons you to her birthday celebration." Once you have created the invitations, use a Disney princess sticker such as Cinderella, Snow White, or Sleeping Beauty to seal the envelope. Use a padded envelope if needed.

Princess Decorations for the Gala

As you select princess decorations, use lavender, pink, yellow, and white colors throughout your theme. Use helium balloons in your theme colors and fill the room with them. Create balloon bouquets by bunching together 3 to 5 balloons to place in the center of the table. Use shiny curling ribbon to tie balloons together. Visit your local party store and purchase Disney Princess posters that you can post on the doors and walls. Create a canopy with pink and lavender streamers in the middle of the room. Decorate your tables by covering with a pastel table cloth and sprinkling sequins, plastic jewels, rose petals, or glitter confetti on the top of the tables. Cover your daughter's chair with a pretty fabric and drape a big ribbon bow around it on the back. Fill the room with giant paper tissue flowers that are easy to make. Lay 7 to 8 sheets of colorful tissue paper on top of each other. Fold this pile in an accordion-style shape. Use a pipe cleaner as a stem to tie the pieces together. Fluff each tissue layer to open the flower petals. Hang glittery star shapes to a fishing line and hang from the ceiling. Create a sash for the birthday girl out of silky pink fabric that will display her princess title.

Party Games

There are many party games that your guests will enjoy. Create a dress-up table which holds bright lipsticks, blush, eye shadow, rings, and bracelets. Put a box of children dress-up dresses and a mirror near the table. Your guests will love getting ready for the royal ball. Hold a dance using Disney songs and let your guests show off their attire. Play musical chairs with Disney theme music in the background. Place tiaras on the chairs and instruct your guests to put on their tiara and find a seat before the music stops. Or hide a red apple in the room with a green ribbon tied to the stem. Tell the children that they must find the poisonous apple to save Snow White. Give the winner a princess sticker. At the end of the evening, give your guests a proper farewell by handing out a princess party favor bag that includes bubbles, candy, a princess wand, stickers, earrings or a bracelet.
