Party ThemesMickey Mouse is one of the oldest cartoon staples, but technology and new releases have kept him alive for decades. When children want to celebrate their birthday with Mickey Mouse, there are tons of ideas you can implement in your own home or at another location. Take your child through this list of ideas and see which ones he wants to use for the upcoming birthday.
Mickey Mouse Clubhouse
Turn your home into a recreation of the popular Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Your house does not need to feature different gadgets and transform, but a little touch of Mickey will do the trick. Use different Mickey Mouse decorations and make them all very colorful like they are on the show. You can also set up different puzzles around the house featuring Mickey Mouse-themed prizes like pencils, candy and small figures. The children will learn and have fun at the same time.
Mickey-Themed Games
Turn ordinary birthday games into Mickey Mouse-themed games. One of the most traditional games that you can transform is "Pin the Tail on the Donkey". You can replace it with a similar game titled "Pin the Ears on Mickey". Musical chairs can be played with Disney-themed music and Mickey's favorite song, "Hot Dog".
Mickey Mouse Marathon
When the children are settled down, they can enjoy old Mickey shorts thanks to classic Disney on DVD. Teach the children the history of animation as they enjoy classic Mickey in "Steamboat Willie" and other Mickey Mouse adventures. You can also mix in newer Mickey shorts from "The House of Mouse".
Mickey Mouse Pinata
Create a homemade Mickey Mouse head piñata. The easiest way to do this is by covering paper mache over a round balloon. Once the paper mache is dry, paint it completely black and add two black construction paper ears. Cut a small hole in the top, pop the balloon in the middle and fill the piñata with candy. Hang it with a fishing line and you have your very own Mickey Mouse piñata.
Disney World
Take your child into a Walt Disney park for free when they celebrate their birthday. The special Disney promotion allows park guests to enjoy everything Mickey, from rides, parades, merchandise and so much more. This is the ultimate place for Mickey Mouse fans and there is no better place than Disney World to spend your birthday.
